Holmsland Børnehus
Holmsland Børnehus in Kloster is an integrated childcare centre with about 15 children in the nursery and just under 40 in the kindergarten.
Because of water damage, the kindergarten children have moved up to the school, where they have their own playground.
In autumn 2025 a new childcare centre is being built by the school, so the nursery and the kindergarten will be together again and parents only have to drop off and pick up in one place.

Holmsland Skole is in Kloster and has about 75 pupils from year 0 to year 6.
In the annual well-being surveys among the pupils, Holmsland Skole usually scores 100%! The academic level is also high compared with the other schools in the municipality.
After year 6, most pupils go on to Ringkøbing Skole (opens in a new window) and a few go to Hvide Sande (opens in a new window). Bus route 580 (opens in a new window) runs between Ringkøbing and Hvide Sande and stops in the morning and afternoon at, among other places, the school in Kloster.
